The Coconut Point Cooperative Art Gallery sponsored by the Art Council of Southwest Florida, is now open! It is in Coconut Point Mall, in Estero, at 12310 Fashion Drive, down the block from West Elm and across the street from the Simon Mall Offices.
The Southwest Florida Craft Guild opened the 2012 season with a spectacular show that encompasses all of the fine crafts created by Guild members that continues through March 31, 2012. While the Gallery was set up by all members of the Guild, it was spearheaded by Marsha Bisson, Vice President and Delegate to the Art Council who did a stupendous job. Please find time to go there and stop in.

Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 11-6pm; Friday, 11-7pm, and Sunday, 12-5pm. It is closed Mondays.
In February 2012, Individual Artists, who are members of Art Council Member Organizations that have chosen not to participate in the Coop Gallery, will be invited to participate and gallery sit as the guidelines indicate.
In March, the Alliance for the Arts has indicated that they are interested in giving their members the opportunity to participate in the Coop Art Gallery as well. All work submitted will be juried in, and an entrance fee charged. Remember that the Coop Art Gallery is a FUND-RAISER for the Art Council.
